  • In grades K-5, our academic programs lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning by nurturing young minds with a rich and engaging curriculum.

    Students receive explicit instruction in the five components of reading, including: phonics, phonological awareness, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary utilizing a structured literacy approach. Structured literacy, based on the science of reading, benefits readers of all abilities and levels.

    Students learn foundational math skills in Counting and Cardinality, Numbers in Base Ten and Fractions, Numbers and Operations, Measurement and Data, and Geometry. Instruction focuses on conceptual understanding of mathematics to help students understand more than isolated facts and methods. Math is taught in the context of real-world application.

    Students receive science and social studies instruction that is rooted in a Christian worldview, using a variety of texts and resources.

    Students have the opportunity to apply learning to solving real-world problems through project-based learning, science labs and experiments, field trips, and other hands-on experiences.

  • In grades 6-8, our academic programs offer a dynamic and challenging educational experience, fostering critical thinking and personal growth during these formative years.

    After mastering foundational reading skills, students receive instruction using increasingly complex text. Students read a wide variety of text including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and primary source documents. Grammar and vocabulary are highlighted in the context of reading and writing instruction.

    Mathematics instruction focuses on ratios and proportional relationships, the number system, expressions and equations, functions, geometry, and statistics and probability. Students have the opportunity to apply their skills to real-world problems.

    Science and social studies is taught through a variety of texts and materials, using a Christian worldview.

    Students have the opportunity to apply learned skills through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) projects, project-based learning, experiments, collaborative learning, and interest-based activities.

  • In grades 9-12, our academic programs provide students with a rigorous and comprehensive education that prepares them for success in college and beyond, while encouraging independent thinking and a commitment to lifelong learning.

    Students have an opportunity to earn high school credits and obtain an accredited high school diploma through our partnership with an accredited online school.
